Oh god.

Someone save my laptop.
Brother had too much time at home, and was fully adopting my previous lifestyle - caused my laptop to be plunged with viruses/worms/trojans/whatever that's venomous to the electronic chipbox set (in short, laptop lol)

And now, the desktop and laptop is down.
Whatever's left is the laptop at work - and it's pretty damn big and heavy.
Nonetheless, newer - but still - big and heavy - ok you get my point.

Again, someone - save my laptop.
I didn't had the chance to do any backup.
AND I NEED whatever's in the laptop.

Symptoms :
It took me 20 minutes to reboot.
It took me another 20 mintues to connect to wireless.
WHICH then - I freaking just plug off the power and gave up.

I hate migraines.
It hits me right and ONLY on the right side of the brain.
And it felt literally like it's stretching and desperately trying to expand itself out of its case(er, skull).

Insomnia caught up on me last night.
I was tossing and turning in bed for almost 2 freaking hours.

Well, since i've collected the robes for graduation, and paid upfront $38 today, yes. I am attending Graduation Day.

The other purpose to school wasn't fulfilled, but the day was good too.
Met up with ah kee.
Despite having numb tastebuds and severe blocknose, today's waffles at Gelare was still GOOD.
To sum it all up, I really miss being a student.
Those WAFFLES TUESDAYS DAYS. AHHHhh. And the random cravings for laksa and goreng pisang in TPY.

And I felt much better about MY LIFE right now.
I'm slacking, learning driving, meeting up with friends whenever I like.
This is good. I dont really think I could replay this part of my life in the near future.

I realised that I have no future plans at all.
ok. probably one, to get my license like NOW.

I woke up early today. surprisingly.
It strucked me how much I miss mornings and breakfast.
And my mind was instantly filled with so many things that I wanted to do.

I started to unpack the things that I've brought back from Shanghai. (YES, THEY ARE STILL THERE)
Sorting out my clothes, bags and whatever barang barangs.
Great.

I'm short of storage space.

It was a futile attempt to reorganise my belongings for now.
Sucks seriously, everything is going back to that familiar corner AGAIN.

NONETHELESS.
I found several notebooks and organisers.
Like how its name suggests, I need to ORGANISEEEEE.
With my trusty marker, I ~~doodled~~ listed down my wants, to-dos and current financial status(oh boy, sigh).

I'm glad that I've started, at least.

It've been eons ever since i've last blogged

And before I could stop and backtrack what i've been doing for the past 5 months, I'm now left with only 16 days in Shanghai.

It's really hard to leave this place that i'm already accustomed to .

For the independence, freedom, weather, the people, the pace.

There are so many places that we planned to go ever since week 1 but didn't.

Nonetheless, i've enjoyed myself for the past 5 months.

I'm looking forward to the trip to Beijing on the 7th of Feb.

Even though we'll be wrapped up in layers and looking like some oversized balloon, but still, travelling with friends rawks.

The past week had been crazy and schedule's so packed that I could hardly switch luggages or do any proper packing before heading for another destination.

First stop was -> Nanjing for the annual Leadership Conference, 5 days.

After which was back to Shanghai for a day then off to Hangzhou for MK Annual Party, 2 days.

Blur shot but anyway, It's snowing when we're on the way to Nanjing.

The train took a stop at Yiwu and we went out to take pictures! (without our winter jackets when it's freezing cold outside at -1 degrees)

Travelling so much on the train made me realise how much i hate lugging luggages(what a mouthful, wth. LOL) and literally lived up the phrase of "赶火车"

Hm. **I hear fireworks again* * And it's raining now, what a waste of money. Anyways back to the topic.

During the actual 6000 pax event at Nanjing,

i've been running around the backstage on my mighty 3-inch heels and without my winter jacket when the place is freezing cold at one to zero degrees. Yes. Thinking back, i think it spell "madness"

Day One Rehearsal - Yes, that's my luggage beside me. That's considered small for a 5 day work trip you know. LOL

And it'll be the same luggage that i'll be squeezing in that 30kg weight baggage when i'm back.

this is not a good time.
But i really felt like blogging after being m.i.a and going internet-less for 2 weeks(probably even more).

Dateline for the monthly periodic report comes by in no more than 19 hours' time. And I'm not even anywhere near starting on it.
Woke up really late today(3.35p.m) and the rest of the day was spent watching DVDs with kim.
Got ourselves the complete season collection of ANTM(Season 1 -8) and we went (AH!!SS OMG!) right in front of the stall owner. I could really start listing what DVDs i'm gonna buy before going back to Sg. Um... any recommendations or wants? Email me yea! Hahas.

Dad came and left for Singapore.
Life's back to normal and according to Angela's calculation(lols)
I have 16 workings days left in Shanghai!
Which made me realise that I'm actually leaving this place, in no time.
And it'll be the trip to Beijing and to some other places during CNY.
I'll be back more on less by the 12th or 13th of Feb.

Will be travelling to Nanjing soon (Leadership Conference) and then Hangzhou again for the Annual Party. 16 working days - 5 days - 2 days = 9 working days left!
THIS IS MADNESS.

I wish time would slow down cause' i havent had enough of Shanghai (yet)
So many plans, so many places that i've yet been to.

hey people!

i guess this is the best time fer me to blog.
1st. i skipped work today
2nd. cause' i'm sick
3rd. this means more time!

i'm sick of resting on bed,
and it sucks even more to take care of myself when i'm sick.
no porridge, no water, no care, no love. SIGH

felt rather nauseous in the morning.
then i started to have diarrhea and all.
took several charcoal pills and guess it helped alot.
Sleep cures wonders too!

I guess i've been up late at night for the past weeks, even months.
And the erratic weather in Shanghai sort of triggers everything. (perhaps, i dont know)

i've been missing for quite awhile.
Life seems rather hectic ever since the start of the month.
But i'm enjoying every single bit of shanghai, apart from those times that i'm WITH rectangle.
i'm somehow left with no more than 8 hours for myself, which was very well allocated with 7 hours for sleep, half an hour of shower, remaining half for the very personal times in the office toilet.

Made a trip to Ikea yesterday.
It's totally like Sg Tampines Ikea.
Just that China Ikea uses smaller hotdog buns. (bahhhhss)
which costs only RMB$3, and you know what.
They don't serve chilli sauce. AT ALL.

I dont understand, aint chilli sauce something as essential as salt and pepper in our lives?
Urgh. this is so weird.

Apart from all the fooodddd......
I got myself lots of storage boxes and a foldable bedside table. (I'm abandoning the ironing board for now! WHEE!)

Plus rags, candles and everything nice! LOLS.

Took a bus then decided to take a ferry back to Pudong.
And the terminal is exactly located on DONG CHANG ROAD. (that's where I STAY!)
The journey would roughly take about the time for one to finish articulating 20 sentences (somewhat, somehow. yea. you get my point).
If not for the heavy packages that we're lugging back, I bet i'll be walking back home with the cooling sea breeze whistling past the back of my ears.

Typhoon, yet again.
But this was worst off then the previous one we had 3 weeks ago.

Howling winds, rapid falling raindrops.
I almost felt like abandoning the umbrella on the way to work.
It was seriously useless when the wind seems to blowing in circles than rather than from one direction.
I would've need a BALL to cover myself up. WTH.

I held on tightly to the useless 25RMB umbrella, half the time praying that it wont fail on me. Thank goodness it didn't break or tore. But it flipped, UPWARDS. (Yes, that's something which everyone could picture, LAUGH go on)
Almost died on my way to the office.
Like what I told some out there, "I swore I looked like I've been to war and back"

Then it was the most pathetic lunch order, I WAITED FOR GODDAMNIT 2 HOURS.

I'm still jumping mad whenever I think back about it.

I bet it's the damn rain. I got into the aircon room straight after the tug of war I had earlier. Took some pills from the frontdesk. Then back home was another one. The SAME.

Dropped straight to the floor the moment I'm back home.
Practically lay there for at least 10 minutes before mastering up all the strength that I'm left to get myeslf up to the bathroom for a hot shower.

Guess what. I hafta wait longer cause the heater doesn't work immediately.
THIS SUCKS.

I HAD a bad day.

Sunday - wednesday night.

Endless photos which i hope i could post up, i'm too lazy for everything.
And there are puppies over at the girls' place!
Popping by every night to check out on them.

And guess what, the toilet got stucked earlier and it turned from blue to greenish-lake water.
damn disgusting. But the girls' landlord came and I borrwed one of the toilet pumps and viola! I 'm so overjoyed when I heard the sound of it rushing down the sewage system. Got stuck for at least an hour or so. flushing doesn't help a shit. Oh! I'm going grocery shopping with the girls, we heart Carrefour. LOLS.

SHANGHAI.

I'm going out of Shanghai (MOST probably) during the golden week.
Gonna leave this sunday along with some other friends, then I'll be back on wedesday.

It's rather funny how e company scheduled our holidays, sat-sun-mon-tue-wed.
WHEREAS, other companies (99.99%) would most probably work on this weekend, then get whole of next week free. UM..

Come to think of it.
I've just bought another 100rmb top-up card.
So far, phone expenditure amounts up to 250RMB. And this is only the start of week 4. (that's like SGD$50?)
Family didn't bother to get a cheaper call card and Dad wasn't that "tech-savvy" yet.

Which explains why I've been calling home rather often(When I could get free incoming, EVEN it's an overseas call, SO people, CALL ME! It's damn cheap to get a card from SG la.) and it's always the usual questions like "Have you ironed your clothes?" - plus a little chuckle from Mum.
She was rather AMUSED by the fact that I'm doing my own laundry, washing, and whatever chores you could name. Hey! INDEPENDENCE alright!

And it was really heartwarming to hear Grandma's familiar teochew-like Chinese accent.
Seriously, I was missing home badly due to the four-sided-shaped-thingy-factor.
But things have been going rather smoothly cause' I'm always meeting up with the girls and le hong.
